Please note the following municipal service level adjustments for Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, 2026:

Leamington Municipal Building

The Leamington Municipal Building will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for Canada Day. Residents can continue to report non-urgent municipal issues online at leamington.ca/ReportanIssue.

Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre

The Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Visit leamington.ca/Recreation for more information.

Garbage, Recycling and Yard Waste Collection

Please note the following changes to collection schedules due to the Canada Day holiday:

• Urban yard waste collection scheduled for Wednesday, July 1 will take place on Tuesday, June 30.
• Rural garbage collection scheduled for Wednesday, July 1 will also take place on Tuesday, June 30.

Transit

LT-Go on-demand transit service will operate on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Community Celebration

The Municipality of Leamington, in partnership with The Bank Theatre, invites residents and visitors to celebrate Canada Day with a free evening of live music and fireworks at the SUNSET® Amphitheatre in Seacliff Park on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

The celebration begins at 7:30 PM with Big Shiny Toons: Ultimate Tribute to the 90s, bringing the energy and nostalgia of one of music's most unforgettable decades to Leamington's waterfront. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display over Lake Erie at 10:00 PM, creating a memorable finale to Canada's birthday celebration.

All are welcome to attend this free, un-ticketed outdoor event. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and set up on the lawn for the show.
