Notice of Meeting Cancellation – Subdivision Application SUB-01-25

Please be advised that the public meeting previously scheduled for August 12, 2025, regarding subdivision application SUB-01-25, has been cancelled.

This cancellation is due to recent changes to the Ontario Planning Act, which removed the requirement for public meetings for subdivision applications. Under the updated process, the Municipality is required to follow the legislation as written. In this case, the County of Essex, not the Municipality of Leamington, has the final approval authority.

About the Application:

Application SUB-01-25 proposes to divide the subject lands, currently vacant, into 28 lots. The property is located on the east side of Greta Avenue, and the lands are already zoned for development. In June 2024, the previous plan of subdivision was formally removed. This application seeks to establish a new subdivision plan in accordance with the attached draft plan.
