Notice of Passing of Zoning By-law Amendment 373 at 120 Mersea Road 5

Leamington Council held a public meeting on July 14, 2026 to consider Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) application #373. The application was approved, and By-law No. 65-26 to amend ZBA 890-90, as amended, was passed by Leamington Council.

The purpose of this by-law is to rezone the property known as 120 Mersea Road 5 to permit the following additional uses: an Agricultural Contractor’s Yard and Accessory Uses including an office or Caretaker’s Residence. The change in zoning also establishes specific zone provisions for an Agricultural Contractor’s Yard, including minimum landscaped open space, a minimum interior side yard setback, parking requirements, and a minimum distance separation between the use and adjacent residential uses. 

The By-law also introduces two new definitions to the ZBA for an Agricultural Contractor’s Yard and a Caretaker’s Residence.
