Notice of Public Meeting to consider ZBA 380 for Vacant Land Southwest of Bevel Line
Leamington Council will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 6:00 PM to consider Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) application #380 at the Leamington Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 111 Erie Street North, Leamington, Ontario, N8H-2Z9.
Purpose:
The Purpose and effect of ZBA 380 is to permit an increase in the maximum lot coverage for single unit attached dwellings from 40% to 45% for interior units and from 50% to 55% for exterior units, and to permit a reduction in the minimum exterior side yard setback from 4.5 metres to 3.0 metres for Blocks 133 and 145 only. This application was submitted with supporting studies which are listed in the attached public notice document and available upon request.
Appeal Information:
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of Council for The Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to The Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
