Notice of Rejection of OPA 17 and Refusal of ZBA 374 at 806 Mersea Road 4
Leamington Council held a public meeting on June 23, 2026 for consideration of Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) application #374 and Official Plan Amendment (OPA) application #17. Council refused both applications.
The purpose and effect of the ZBA was to rezone 806 Mersea Road 4 to a site-specific use that would permit a greenhouse and existing agricultural uses. The purpose and effect of the OPA was to establish a site-specific policy for the subject lands at 806 Mersea Road 4 to permit a greenhouse as an additional permitted use.
