Paving Scheduled for Queens, John, Albert, Baird, and Elliott During the Week of August 24

The Municipality of Leamington is advising residents that work on the Queens Avenue, John Street, Albert Street, Baird Avenue and Elliott Street Sewer Separation and Road Reconstruction Project will resume during 
the week of August 24, 2026, with final paving scheduled throughout the project area.

The paving work is expected to take approximately three days to complete.

 
Intermittent temporary road closures will be required while the work is completed. Where possible, roads will remain open to local traffic, with single-lane access and alternating traffic in place as required. Flagpersons will be on site to direct traffic through the work area.

Motorists should expect delays, obey all posted traffic signs and follow the directions of flagpersons.

The Municipality appreciates the continued patience and cooperation of residents and businesses as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.
