Reminder: Burn Permits Required for All Open-Air Burning in Leamington
The Municipality of Leamington reminds residents that a burn permit is required for all forms of open-air burning, as regulated under the Municipality’s Open Air Burning By-law.
Whether you're planning a small backyard campfire or clearing brush on your property, a valid permit must be obtained before burning.
Apply for a Burn Permit
Residents must obtain a permit before conducting any outdoor burning. Permits can be conveniently purchased online at: leamington.ca/Burning
Permit Processing and Inspections
- Please allow 3-5 business days for permit processing.
- First-time applicants will require an on-site inspection by Leamington Fire Services prior to approval.
