South Detroit Brings the Music of Journey to Leamington’s SUNSET® Amphitheatre

The sounds of Journey are coming to Leamington’s waterfront as South Detroit Band: A Tribute to Journey headlines the next Music Onthe42 Summer Concert Series performance on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 
the SUNSET® Amphitheatre in Seacliff Park.

Presented by the Municipality of Leamington and produced by The Bank Theatre, this free outdoor concert begins at 7:30 PM with River Rock Ramblers, followed by South Detroit at 8:30 PM.

South Detroit brings the iconic sound of Journey to life with impressive musicianship, powerful vocals, and close attention to the sound that helped define an era of rock music. From classic hits like Don’t Stop Believin’ to deep cuts and fan favourites, the band delivers a high-energy tribute filled with the soaring melodies and harmonies Journey fans know and love.

The concert is free to attend. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show comfortably, and refreshments will be available for purchase on-site.

LT-Go Transit will be running extended evening service until 11:00 PM, providing a convenient way for residents to travel to and from the concert.
