Temporary Road Closure on Mill St. E. and Princess St. - October 26

The Municipality of Leamington will be repainting the commemorative crosswalks at the intersection of Mill Street East and Princess Street, leading to the Leamington Cenotaph in Dieppe Park, ahead of Remembrance Day.

The work is scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM on Monday, October 26, 2026, weather permitting, and will require temporary road closures on Mill Street East and Princess Street.

Crews will complete the crosswalks one at a time to maintain access where possible. However, both streets will be closed for about two hours to allow the paint to dry.

The Mill Street and Princess Street parking lots will remain open and accessible throughout the work.

Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and follow posted signage.

The Municipality appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while this work is completed.
