Update to Mayor’s 2026 Budget Meetings

Further to the previously issued notice regarding the Mayor’s 2026 Budget presentations scheduled for December 10, 11, and 12, 2025, please be advised of the following update:

• All budget presentations were completed today, December 10, 2025. As a result, the Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025, has been cancelled.

In accordance with the shortened timelines adopted by Council, Council will reconvene on Friday, December 12, 2025, only if required. A meeting will be held on that date only if any budget amendment requests are submitted by members of Council to both the Mayor and the Clerk in advance.

If no amendments are received, the 2026 Municipal Budget will be deemed adopted on Friday in accordance with Strong Mayor Powers legislation.
