Waterfront Market Plaza

Residents and visitors are invited to explore the newly completed plaza, which features expanded parking, public washroom facilities, a playground and green space, public seating, food and beverage vendors, and a new stage for live entertainment on the waterfront. The Waterfront Market Plaza will feature curated food and beverage vendors and a variety of community-focused programming, including live music, small markets, and other public activities.

Live music will be taking place on the new waterfront stage every Wednesday and Friday for the remainder of the summer, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (excluding Friday, August 14, due to the Mill Street Market).

The live music will start Wednesday, August 12, with the Ashley Lynn Experience performing.

Waterfront Market Plaza Vendor Program – 2026

The Municipality of Leamington is inviting food and beverage vendors to apply to participate in the 2026 Waterfront Market Plaza (WMP) Seasonal Food and Beverage Vendor Program.

Currently under construction and anticipated to fully open in August 2026, the Waterfront Market Plaza is being developed as a vibrant waterfront destination designed to support community activity, tourism, and local food and beverage entrepreneurs.

The Plaza features fully serviced vendor spaces with access to electrical, water, and natural gas services and is intended to create a vibrant and welcoming visitor experience for residents and visitors alike.

Eligible vendor formats include:

Food trucks
Food trailers
Mobile beverage units
Food carts

There are no rental costs associated with participation in the 2026 Waterfront Market Plaza Vendor Program. Applicants are responsible for any costs associated with required documentation and approvals.

Operating Season (July to October 12, 2026)

Vendor spaces will operate through a flexible seasonal schedule, providing vendors the opportunity to participate throughout the 2026 season based on availability and operational fit.
