Applying for a Building Permit Online
The Municipality of Leamington is now offering to residents, builders and the business community a new building permit software called Cloudpermit. With this online system, it will allow you to complete the entire building permit process from anywhere at any time.
With Cloudpermit, not only are you able to apply for different types of building permits but you can:
- Check your status of your building permit or building inspection
- Request and submit changes to an existing building permit
- Schedule or cancel building inspections
- Communicate with your building department
Payment Options
Once you have been notified by the Building Department, either by phone or Cloudpermit notification, regarding your permit fee, we accept the following forms of payment:
- Cheque, bank or money order payable to "The Municipality of Leamington"
- Debit
- Online Payment through Cloudpermit Only
(Please note: There is a fee to use this online payment option. The service fee to use your credit card is 3%)
Register your Cloudpermit Account
To begin the process, you will need to create your Cloudpermit account. Cloudpermit currently supports Firefox, Google, and Safari browsers. Once registered, you can apply for building permits and track the progress online.
