Building Inspector |
Description: Reporting to the Manager of Building Services/Chief Building Official (CBO), the Building Inspector is responsible for inspecting all construction and ensuring the construction complies with provincial regulations. This role reviews construction drawings to ensure compliance with all applicable codes. In the absence of the Manager of Building Services/CBO and the Deputy CBO, the Building Inspector designated by the Director or Manager will assume the duties of the CBO. In such instances, the position will be called Acting Chief Building Official. This posting will remain open until the position is filled. |
Class B Refrigeration Operator |
Description: Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, the Class B Refrigeration Operator is responsible for operating the ammonia refrigeration system as outlined in the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000 (TSSA) regulations at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Center (NFFRC). This position is also responsible for performing the overall maintenance and janitorial duties and assisting with the efficient operation of all the physical plant equipment associated with the arenas and swimming pool. Description: The Transit Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Municipality’s on-demand transit system, specialized accessible transit system, and conventional regional transit system. This includes extensive coordination with the service providers and contractors who facilitate these services within the Municipality, along with monitoring of the day-to-day service delivery to ensure compliance with municipal performance standards. The Transit Coordinator is also responsible for planning and development associated with expanding the Municipality’s transit service while ensuring the existing level of service is maintained or improved through the process. Description: Reporting to the Supervisor of Recreation & Fitness Programs, the Weight Room Attendant will be responsible for supervising the members and patrons of the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre weight room as well as ensuring equipment is kept clean and orderly. The main responsibilities of the weight room attendant are to assist patrons, handle immediate first aid needs, clean and sanitize weight room equipment, answer any questions or concerns and provide weight room orientations.
