Pre-Authorized Payment PlanChoosing a Municipality of Leamington Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP) offers a convenient way to pay your taxes without the hassle of cheques, postage or overdue payments.The application to enroll in a Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP) can be submitted throughout the year; amounts will be calculated accordingly. If you are currently enrolled in a payment plan, it will automatically renew for the next year. |

Qualifications
- You are a Municipality of Leamington property owner
- Your tax account is in good standing (you have no arrears or unpaid charges on your account)
- You have a savings or chequing account at a Canadian financial institution
- You do not pay your taxes through a mortgage company
To cancel your pre-authorized plan please complete Request to Cancel Payment Plan Form, to change your payment plan please complete Request for Pre-Authorization Payment Plan Change Form, and submit it to Finance and Business Services at least 30 days before the next payment is due.

Do I have to sign up each year? |
Once you have enrolled in the program and your account is in good standing, you are automatically enrolled for subsequent years. |
What if I own more than one property in Leamington? |
If you own more than one property within the Municipality of Leamington, you must complete one application per property. |
What if I move within the Municipality of Leamington? |
If you are moving within the Municipality of Leamington, the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan is not transferable. You must cancel your enrolment on your current property and complete an application form for your new property. |
What if my property is reassessed during the year? |
Supplemental tax billings are not part of the pre-authorized program. All supplemental billings are required to be paid on the corresponding due dates. |
What if I need to cancel my payment plan in the year? |
If you need to cancel your payment plan for any reason you must submit a payment plan cancellation form. It is your responsibility to ensure any partially unpaid or future installments are paid by the due date. |
How much notice do I need to give to cancel a payment plan? |
Requests to cancel payment plans should be received at least 2-3 weeks in advance of the next scheduled withdrawal date. |
