Types of PAP Plans

 10-month payment plan
  • Payments for the 10-month plan will be deducted from your bank account on the first Friday of each month. The 10-month plan runs from February to November.
  • The first five installments are calculated at 50% of last years' taxes. You will receive a letter in December advising you of your monthly amount for February-June payments.
  • After final taxes have been calculated, your monthly payments from July-November will be adjusted to reflect the balance of taxes owing. Each year the final tax bill will provide you with the new 10-month plan amount for these final five payments.
  • Interim tax notices may not be issued for properties on the 10-month plan.
  • Any outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to enrolment in the plan.
  • Service charges and applicable penalties will apply to any payment not cleared by your bank.
 Due date plan
  • Withdrawals are made on the four regularly scheduled tax installment due dates.
  • The withdrawal amount will correspond with the installment amount on your tax bill.
  • Any outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to enrolment in the plan.
  • Service charges and applicable penalties will apply to any payment not cleared by your bank.
