Notice of Public Meeting to consider ZBA No. 366 for Vacant Land, County Road 31
Leamington Council will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM to consider an application for Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) 366 at the Leamington Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 111 Erie Street North, Leamington, Ontario N8H 2Z9.
The purpose and effect of ZBA 366 is to rezone the subject property to a site-specific Commercial Industrial (C4-8) Zone to permit a Waste Transfer Station.

Recycling Collection Continues as Scheduled in JanuaryThe Municipality of Leamington advises residents that recycling collection will continue as usual in January, despite recycling dates not appearing in the 2025 Collection Calendar.
The January recycling schedule was omitted from the printed calendar because the transition to Circular Materials and single-stream recycling was still being finalized when the 2025 calendar went to print.

Leaf Collection UpdateThe Municipality of Leamington continues to collect leaf piles throughout urban areas, and crews have been out nearly every weekday, except when required to respond to snow and winter maintenance operations.
Please note that leaf collection trucks are also used as snow plows.

New All-Way Stop Installed at Pulford Avenue IntersectionThe Municipality of Leamington has installed a new all-way stop at the intersection of Pulford Avenue, Canadian Tire, and County Fair Mall access.
The change was implemented in response to community concerns related to pedestrian safety, driver visibility, and the adequacy of existing traffic control measures in the area.
