The Promenade between the Leamington Marina and the dock will be temporarily closed to through pedestrian traffic beginning Monday, April 13, 2026, for approximately four weeks to allow for construction of the Waterfront Market Plaza.

The Municipality of Leamington has retained BT Engineering Inc. to complete a Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) (2024) for improvements to Mersea Road 1 in Leamington, Ontario to ensure the roadway has capacity for future planned population growth.

The Municipality of Leamington has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) Master Plan (Approach 2) study to enhance the performance of its wastewater infrastructure, ensuring it can meet the needs of Leamington’s growing community over the next 20 years.

The Municipality of Leamington has obtained convictions resulting in fines totalling $1,920, plus court costs, against a local rental unit manager following a fire safety inspection of a residential housing unit. The inspection revealed multiple violations of the Ontario Fire Code related to the installation and maintenance of required smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
