    At the Leamington Council meeting ofTuesday, December 16,2025, Council:

    • Gave municipal approval for the proposed Evergreen Memorial Park mausoleum expansion at 366 Talbot Street West, Leamington. 

    • Approved the purchase of a new 101’ Aerial Platform Fire Truck through City View Specialty Vehicles for the Canadian purchase price of $2,770,000 (plus HST) through the Canoe Procurement Buying Group of Canada.

  • Council Matters – December 9, 2025

    At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, December 9, 2025, Council:

    • Approved an amendment to Leamington’s Zoning By-law with regard to 918 Point Pelee Drive. The property currently has three cottages (918, 920, and 922 Point Pelee Drive), and the amendment splitthe property into three separate lots, each with its own title and tax roll number.

  • Council Matters – November 18, 2025

    At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Council:

    • Held a Public Meeting under the Drainage Act to consider adopting a report titled “Leamington Bridge Cost Sharing for Existing Access Structures Within Municipal Drains” provided by Rood Engineering. A Court of Revision will be held in the next few weeks and affected property owners will be notified via mail.

    At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, October 28, 2025 Council:

    • Approved Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) No.358, to rezone the properties of 20, 24, 26, and 28 Foster Avenue from Commercial to a site-specific Commercial General Zone to permit the development of a 3-storey commercial building and a 5-storey residential building.
