About our Summer Day Camp program

The Municipality of Leamington is committed to providing quality sport and recreation programs for children that promote healthy growth and development. Our programs are designed to be age appropriate, safe and fun. To ensure activities are of the highest quality, we incorporate the High Five principles of healthy child development into our Day Camp programs.  All of our counsellors are First Aid/CPR C certified and High Five trained. We maintain a 10:1 camper to counsellor ratio.

Day Camp programs and activities at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre (NFFRC) include physical activity, outdoor play, swimming, crafts, science experiments, field trips, and more!  Our programs are age-specific and aid in promoting creativity, teamwork and friendship.

Please note that registrations made on the day of the program are subject to an additional $10.00 fee per child.

Weekly Rate: $194.00

Daily Rate: $44.00

Specialty Week: $220.00

We’re excited to introduce four new Specialty Camp weeks designed for campers who want to spend more time on what they love. These programs offer a deeper focus on skill development, confidence building, and making new friendships in a fun, supportive environment.

Designed for children ages 8–12, each Specialty Camp runs in small groups and is led by qualified instructors to provide more individualized attention and hands-on learning. Full-week registration is required so campers can get the most out of the experience.

Each morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM), campers take part in their selected specialty program, focusing on skill-building and guided instruction. In the afternoons, they join our Day Camp program for swimming, group games, and classic camp activities at NFFRC.

Week 2 | Basketball Specialty Camp | $220

Campers will build their basketball skills through training focused on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork.

Inspired by the excitement of the game at every level, campers will take part in skill challenges, team competitions, and game-style play that keeps things fun, active, and engaging all week long.

Whether they’re learning the basics or sharpening their skills, this week is all about confidence, teamwork, and loving the game.

Week 4 | World Cup Soccer Specialty Camp | $220

Fresh off the excitement of the FIFA World Cup Final, campers will train like champions while developing core soccer skills including passing, shooting, dribbling, teamwork, and game strategy.

Throughout the week, campers will compete in World Cup–inspired games and challenges as they represent different countries and take part in friendly competition. A high-energy week of soccer, teamwork, and fun.

Week 6 | STEM Specialty Camp | $115

Campers will explore science, technology, and math through hands-on experiments, creative challenges, and problem-solving activities designed to spark imagination and discovery.

Each day, campers will take on engaging projects that encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and experimentation - from building and testing designs to exploring how things work in the real world.

This is a week for curious minds who love to build, test, create, and explore while having fun in a supportive, interactive environment.

Week 8 | Multi-Sport Specialty Camp | $220

Multi-Sport Specialty Camp gives campers the chance to try a variety of sports and skill-based games.

Throughout the week, campers will rotate through activities which include volleyball, pickleball, badminton, and more, along with cooperative games and skill challenges that promote coordination, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
