Lotteries at Special Events

If the event involves raffles, lotteries, bazaars or games, the Event Organizer must comply with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario legislation. Only approved charitable organizations are eligible for a lottery licence.

Applications for eligibility and applications to hold a lottery may be sent to the Licensing Assistant at  licensing@leamington.ca

Sales and Vendors

Event Organizers must provide the Municipality with a list of vendors selling merchandise or other goods at the event. While there is no additional permit required, it is recommended that Event Organizers ensure that the vendors have proper insurance coverage and a valid business licence from their local municipality.
