LTW Transit

Service Ending April 30, 2026

The Municipality of Leamington regrets to announce that the Leamington to Windsor (LTW) Transit Service will be discontinued effective April 30, 2026.

This decision follows the expiry of provincial funding and the County of Essex’s decision not to provide ongoing financial support for the regional transit service. Despite these challenges, Leamington Council approved an extension of the service through April 2026, allowing post-secondary students and other riders who rely on the LTW to complete the 2025–2026 academic year.

Since launching in 2019, the LTW service has provided a vital connection between Leamington, Kingsville, Essex, and Windsor, enabling residents to access education, employment, and essential services. The Municipality extends its thanks to all riders who have supported the service over the years.
