Notice of Public Information Centre (PIC) #2 Leamington Wastewater Master PlanThe Municipality of Leamington is conducting a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) study to enhance the performance of its wastewater infrastructure and ensure it can meet the needs of Leamington’s growing community over the next 20 years. The Wastewater Master Plan (WWMP) will guide how the municipality delivers wastewater treatment services, focusing on cost-effective, environmentally sustainable solutions that reflect the values and priorities of its residents.

Council Matters – May 13, 2025At the Leamington Council meeting of May 13, 2025, Council:
- Adopted an engineer’s report for the creation of a new municipal drain branching off the Sturgeon Creek Drain, to be named Brunato Drain; authorized the works to be tendered; and approved the scheduling of a Court of Revision. Council also approved a by-law to provide for the Brunato Drain.

Potential Canada Post Strike: How it May Impact Municipal ServicesFollowing a temporary pause in the national Canada Post labour disruption at the end of 2024, negotiations between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are ongoing. A strike or service interruption remains possible as early as May 22, 2025.

Sewer Separation and Road Reconstruction Project - Margaret, Audrey, Jane, Claire and Sherk StreetsContractors working on behalf of the Municipality of Leamington will be undertaking a sewer separation and road reconstruction project on multiple streets as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements. Construction is scheduled to begin May 5, 2025, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, weather permitting.
