Municipality of Leamington Announces Discontinuation of Leamington to Windsor Transit ServiceThe Municipality of Leamington regrets to announce that the Leamington to Windsor (LTW) Transit Service will be discontinued effective April 30, 2026.
The decision follows the expiry of provincial funding and the County of Essex’s decision not to provide ongoing financial support for the regional transit service.

Leamington to Install Commemorative CrosswalksThe Municipality of Leamington is installing two commemorative crosswalks at the intersection of Mill Street East and Princess Street, converging at the path leading to the Leamington Cenotaph located in Dieppe Park.
The crosswalks, one running east to west and the other north to south, will feature red and white stripes, the silhouette of a soldier, and the words “Lest We Forget.

- Approved the issuance of Municipal Supported Resolutions (MSRs) for a number of project proposals to the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) Long-Term 2 procurement process. The IESO project aims to help meet Ontario’s projected electricity needs between 2029 and 2034.
