New Blue Recycling Carts Being Delivered – Do Not Use Until January 2026New blue recycling carts have begun being delivered to Leamington residents this week as part of the region’s transition to a single-stream recycling system, effective January 1, 2026.
Please note that the new carts are for recycling only and cannot be used until the new system begins.

Municipality of Leamington Announces Discontinuation of Leamington to Windsor Transit ServiceThe Municipality of Leamington regrets to announce that the Leamington to Windsor (LTW) Transit Service will be discontinued effective April 30, 2026.
The decision follows the expiry of provincial funding and the County of Essex’s decision not to provide ongoing financial support for the regional transit service.

Leamington to Install Commemorative CrosswalksThe Municipality of Leamington is installing two commemorative crosswalks at the intersection of Mill Street East and Princess Street, converging at the path leading to the Leamington Cenotaph located in Dieppe Park.
The crosswalks, one running east to west and the other north to south, will feature red and white stripes, the silhouette of a soldier, and the words “Lest We Forget.
