The Municipality of Leamington is pleased to announce that Seacliff Drive West is now fully open to traffic, marking the completion of the Seacliff Drive West Reconstruction Project.

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Council will consider:

• Holding a Public Meeting under the Drainage Act to consider authorizing the installation of a new access bridge over the Stevenson Drain.

Due to weather conditions, the planned closure of the Seacliff Drive West and Sherk Street intersection has been postponed and will now take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, as the Seacliff Drive West Reconstruction Project enters its final stage.

The decisions followed a presentation by the LDSS EcoTeam highlighting concerns about plastic pollution and microplastics in the environment.

• Naming the Municipal park located at 47 Erie Street South “Migrant Worker Square” and installing the Italian Centennial Park sign at 1 John Street.
