  • Marriage Licence Applications Now Available Through ServiceOntario

    The Municipality of Leamington is advising residents that the Marriage Licence Application process has transitioned from the municipal website to the Government of Ontario’s ServiceOntario platform, effective Monday, January 12, 2026.

    Residents can now complete their marriage licence application online through ServiceOntario at Jan 13, 2026

  • Notice of Public Meeting to consider ZBA No. 366 for Vacant Land, County Road 31

    Leamington Council will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM to consider an application for Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) 366 at the Leamington Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 111 Erie Street North, Leamington, Ontario N8H 2Z9.

    The purpose and effect of ZBA 366 is to rezone the subject property to a site-specific Commercial Industrial (C4-8) Zone to permit a Waste Transfer Station.

  • Recycling Collection Continues as Scheduled in January

    The Municipality of Leamington advises residents that recycling collection will continue as usual in January, despite recycling dates not appearing in the 2025 Collection Calendar.

    The January recycling schedule was omitted from the printed calendar because the transition to Circular Materials and single-stream recycling was still being finalized when the 2025 calendar went to print.

    The Municipality of Leamington is accepting online applications for 2026 summer student and seasonal positions.

    The following positions are available:

    Student Positions:

    • By-law Student

    • Civil Engineering Student

    • Day Camp Counsellor

    • Finance Student

    • Marina Dock Hand

    • Planning Services Student

    • PCC Lab Assistant 

    • Records Management Student

    • Water Services Student Labourer

    Seasonal Positions:

    • Day Camp Coordinator

    • Marina Junior Lead Hand

    • Marina Ramp Attendant

    • Parks Seasonal Labourer

  • Council Matters – December 16, 2025

    At the Leamington Council meeting ofTuesdayDecember 16,2025, Council:

    • Gave municipal approval for the proposed Evergreen Memorial Park mausoleum expansion at 366 Talbot Street West, Leamington

    • Approved the purchase of a new 101’ Aerial Platform Fire Truck through City View Specialty Vehicles for the Canadian purchase price of $2,770,000 (plus HST) through the Canoe Procurement Buying Group of Canada.

    Help Shape the Future of Recreation in Leamington – Service Delivery Review Survey

    The Municipality of Leamington is working with StrategyCorp to complete a Service Delivery Review for its Recreation Department. This review will examine how recreation services are currently delivered, including operations at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre and Marina, and will help identify opportunities to enhance programs and improve the overall customer experience.

    Members of the public may attend and watch the meeting in person at the Leamington Municipal Building (Council Chambers), located at 111 Erie Street North.
