The Municipality of Leamington is once again partnering with Pathway to Potential (P2P) to offer Grade 10 students a discounted one-year Student Membership at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre (NFFRC).

Leamington voters have three opportunities to cast their ballot before Election Day in the 2026 Municipal Election. Advance voting will be available on October 10, 17 and 21, giving eligible voters more flexibility to choose a date and time that works for them.

The Municipality of Leamington advises that the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM to accommodate a scheduled power disconnect required as part of the facility’s refrigeration plant replacement project.

The Municipality of Leamington will offer fare-free LT-Go transit on Municipal Election Day, Monday, October 26, 2026, to support accessible and inclusive voter participation.

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, September 22, 2026 Council:

• Approved the waiver of all LT-Go transit fares on Municipal Election Day, Monday October 26, 2026, to reduce transportation and financial barriers to voting, with the cost of waived fares funded through the Contingency Reserve.

• Waiving the LT-Go transit fares on the Municipal Election Day, Monday, October 26, 2026 to encourage voter turnout and provide transportation to reduce transportation and financial barriers to voting.

At its meeting on September 8, 2026, Leamington Council passed Cemetery By-law 52-26 and approved the associated fees to permit the sale of interment rights for niches in the new columbarium at Bayview Cemetery.
